Professional Web Designer

With internet today bridging the gap between a service provider and the service buyer has brought in a revolutionary change in different methods of marketing. Internet marketing through websites has sparkled in a boom in message delivery and has changed the scenario in the marketing world.

But few people fail to realize the importance of color in their websites. A professional web designer when designing a website should remember that color plays a vital role in comprehending a message. It is imperative to know that the human eye gets tired like every other muscle in your body and that there are millions of light sensing nerve cells in the back of your eye known as rods and cones and reacts to specific colors. A simple example being that if you constantly look into the color red, your eye will get tired and your eyes will fail to see the exact color anymore. This happens to the color yellow as well. Thus when a professional web designer designs his website this is a very significant factor to consider. If you constantly use a lot of bright colors or use a major part of your website in red or yellow, the browser will not be able to look at your website beyond a particular time and the purpose of your message to be conveyed will be in vain. Moreover it is because you have done a good job that a person visits your website therefore you don't need to use extreme colors to grab their attention!

There are many other reasons by which a professional web designer cannot use any color when designing his website:

o All web browsers do not share the same 256 color pallet, which makes them only to view common colors of only 216 types.
o If you choose a particular color beyond the 216 color, the computer needs to mix colors which will not give the desired color and effect.
o Color in the above said case may also result to the distortion of written text and visual effects.
o Color chosen apart from the common colors viewed by the browser might result in another color on different screens and might not be able to convey the feel of the message.

Therefore it is important for a professional web designer to choose the right colors to design his website to make his customers feel at ease when they visit his website. Another example which can be relevant is the usage of yellow color in all caution sign boards. This is because the human eye is attracted to the color first and also gets tired of the color very fast. Thus using these colors on your website will attract the attention of the buyer. But it is also important to do it sparingly. Therefore a professional web designer should use these colors only in places which he thinks might need extra attention. Your motive should be to keep your visitors glued into your website. So use colors in which they will be comfortable.

Using such colors might grab the attention of your visitors, but their enthusiasm will soon die down after their eyes will become tired and start hurting after seeing the bright color too long. This will make them only to move away from your website. There might be more than enough reasons for a visitor not to visit your site. Let not color be one among them.
